Yesterday I had one of those unique opportunities that life sometimes brings across our plate. I; unfortunately had to say goodbye to a dear uncle as his journey of life and his battles finally came to an end. It is such a reminder that we all need to take to heart. When opportunity presents itself – tell those in your life that you love them and are grateful for their place in yours.
Don’t neglect any moments. They may be that one opportunity to say or do what you need to do.
Death doesn’t discriminate and ALWAYS comes at the wrong time. We never have enough time with those we love. So love well! And say it often…
Too much time is wasted in pursuit of what doesn’t truly matter. Shed the trivial for the significant. And bring someone along with you.
I also want to say to all of you people in the healthcare profession that you are special people. You willingly get schooled to step into some real hardships in this path called life. Thank you to the wonderful medical people at MD Anderson Cancer Center. You are remarkable!
