The first thing I took note of would have to be that they (people of Cambodia) don’t like straight lines. The way they write – no straight lines! The architecture – no straight lines; unless needed for support . Even their driving isn’t straight. There are not a lot of rules or expectations here and I love it. It gives you a break from all the “haters (those who don’t see the good in other people).” But the catch is – their children wanting your money. Every street corner you turn there are at least 10 kids who come up to you and ask you to buy something that they don’t get to keep the money for. And I will admit my mom is right (the children do not get to keep the money). It does bother me.
